Data Validation

You've imported your data into Polaris based on a data partner integration or a custom export uploaded to S3. Things to look out for once logged into Polaris:

Make sure your source of truth data matches with the data in the Polaris Analytics page
Review the data considerations and make sure the data in the Polaris Analytics page adheres to all of them (pay special attention to Country Consistency and Country Allocation
Use the Polaris Import Tracking page to see the status as well as detailed error information (if the import failed) for every data import
If something is wrong, re-import the corrected data (if using the custom export data sharing method) or reach out to your Customer Success Manager for support
Let your Customer Success Manager know that the data has been validated once you've reviewed everything and are happy
The initial MMM will be automatically trained and incrementality metrics will be available in the Polaris Analytics page within about 24 hours

When the data in Polaris doesn't match the data you imported via the Custom Export data sharing method, but there are no errors in the Import Tracking page, check for these common issues first.

If no entry exists in the Import Tracking page for an import, check the file names to ensure they meet the requirements outlined in the File Naming section of the Custom Export article.
If metric values in Polaris are less than the values you imported, check the CSV files for duplicates (see the Duplicates section of the Custom Export article for more details)
